Asset & Environment Management

Asset & Environment Management

We are experts in helping airport owners and operators achieve their strategic objectives. We add long-term value and optimize performance to benefit strategic investment and asset maintenance.

Asset Management

We combine our multidisciplinary skills of infrastructure planning, design, rehabilitation and maintenance with global experience in project management, funding, and finance to provide truly first-class service. At Macau International Airport, we provided recommendations for the strategic management of the airport and a 5-year development strategy focused on the short-term requirements of the airport. This study included an asset condition survey of the airport infrastructure. We provided strategic, technical, and operational advice for the drafting of contract documents for the facilities and operational management services at the new Dublin Airport Terminal 2. We ensured that the client, Irish Department of Transport, would receive the best value and quality of services from the contractor.

Environmental Management

Our multidisciplinary project teams of environmental, professional, and social scientists fully understand the environmental issues that arise on airport projects around the world. We can provide environment management plans for airport operators, lenders, and contractors and advise on environmental risks and liabilities as part of due diligence. We have extensive experience in working with the Equator Principles and ensure compliance for environmental impact assessments and management plans.

We offer clients an extensive service range including:

- Ecology
- Environmental impact assessments
- Landscape architecture
- Climate change studies
- Conversation and biodiversity enhancement
- Pollution monitoring and remediation
- Carbon foot printing
- Designs to BREEAM and LEED standards

In our role as lender's advisor at Izmir Airport, Turkey, we evaluated the environmental and social risks associated with the construction and operations of a new international terminal. During construction, we assessed the contractor's performance with respect to the environmental management plan and compliance with the Equator Principles. We are continuing to ensure operational compliance with the environmental management plan during the operational phase of the airport.
